The problem

Five apps for one person’s money.

Modern investors rely on multiple apps for trading, mutual funds, loans, crypto and forex. This fragmented ecosystem creates confusion, poor visibility of finances, and makes it difficult to take timely, data-driven decisions — especially for new users.

The session · 21 days

Three weeks, one candle a day.

The project ran for 21 days across five phases. Scroll through them: every stage you pass is drawn onto the chart.

The UX work

Behind the design

  • From the build — read off the real screens
  • Assumption — to validate with users
  • Planned test

From the build

  1. 01

Home opens on one number — portfolio value — with eight quick actions beneath it (Trade, Transaction, Withdraw, Deposit, Stocks, Mutual Funds, Forex, Crypto).

WhyThe question people open a trading app with is “how am I doing?”; every asset class is then one tap away, which is what “any market two taps away” means in practice.

    Home

  2. 02

A dark interface where colour is reserved for meaning: green for gains and actions, red only for losses.

WhyIn a data-dense screen, colour that always means the same thing can be read at a glance — decoration would compete with the numbers.

    Every screen

  3. 03

The performance chart carries its own timeframe switch, from one week to all time.

WhyChanging the period is the most common chart action; keeping it on the chart avoids a separate settings step.

    Home · Market

  4. 04

The buy screen keeps quantity, order type and price on one card with steppers, and buy and sell side by side.

WhyPlacing a trade should take seconds; steppers prevent typing mistakes on a phone keyboard.

    Buy trade

  5. 05

The AI assistant is a tab of its own (new chat, chat history), not a pop-up.

WhyInsights people come back to need a home; history makes advice reviewable.
